Micromax Dual 5: Our Recommendation
The latest trend in #Android smartphones is pivoting to the dual-camera set-up. We are seeing a few manufacturers launching dual-camera set-up #Android smartphones. Also, this is a re-branded the Qiku 360 Q5. If you look-up the specifications, they are identical. Micromax has just re-branded the #phone. Even if you import the phone from #China, it should not cross Rs. 20,000/- at the max. This price includes shipping and other duties and the like.
Considering that Micromax would be importing the phone in bulk, the prices would be even lower. That’s Economics 101: Economies of Scale. The more you produce, the lower you price for production. We feel that this smartphone should have been prices below Rs. 14,000/- in the Indian market.
For the current price of Rs. 24,999/-, we do not recommend that people buy this smartphone. It is just not worth the price. You can buy the Huawei Honor 6X for just Rs. 12,999/-. Micromax’s latest #Android #smartphone will be competing with the likes of Coolpad Cool 1, Gionee A1, Oppo F3 Plus, and the Vivo V5 Plus.
