HTC has now launched the new high-end #android #smartphone in the U series.  The new smartphone is the U Ultra.  The HTC U Ultra #android #smartphone is the heir to the U series.  The HTC’s latest #android #smartphone was launched in 2017.  The HTC U Ultra #android #smartphone has high-end specifications.  The HTC U Ultra #android #smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs.52,000/- and above in the Indian #smartphone market.

HTC U Ultra: Camera and Display

HTC’s latest smartphone’s primary (rear) camera is 5/8/13 MP photo fanatics.  HTC’s latest smartphone’s secondary (front) camera is 2/5/8 MP for selfie lovers.  The primary camera has LED Flash.  Other features of HTC’s latest smartphone’s camera are geo-tagging, auto-focus, touch focus, and face detection. HTC’s latest #android #smartphone has a 5.7” Quad HD Dual S-LCD 5 display that supports a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.  There is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with curve edge or Sapphire Glass display protection.


HTC U Ultra: Network, Internet Connectivity, and SIM(s)

HTC’s latest #android #smartphone currently supports the following 2G network bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz. HTC’s latest #android #smartphone currently supports the following 3G network bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz.  Users will have support for the 4G network in this smartphone. HTC’s latest #android #smartphone currently supports the following 4G network bands LTE 900 / 1200 MHz.  Regarding 4G, 150 Mbps (maximum) is the download speed.   Regarding 4G, 50 Mbps (maximum) is the upload speed.  The HTC U Ultra has Dual SIM support for placing and receiving calls.


HTC U Ultra: Other Interconnectivity and Storage Options

HTC’s latest smartphone supports USB 3.1 Gen 1, Type-C for connectivity.  It also has support for NFC, Bluetooth 4.5, Chromecast, AirPlay, Miracast, DLNA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and hotspots.  Users will also get GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou support.  Regarding storage, users get 64/128 GB of internal storage.  We feel this is more than adequate, considering that current smartphones’ are coming with 16/32 GB of internal storage.  We are also seeing some smartphones with 32/64 GB of internal storage.  For expandibility, users can increase the storage up to 2 TB by the use of a Micro SD card.


HTC U Ultra: Dimensions, Multimedia, Battery, and Others

The U Ultra has a dimension of 162.41 x 79.79 x 3.6-7.99 mm.  The U Ultra weighs in at about 170 grams.  HTC’s latest smartphone supports .3gp, .mp4, .m4a, .aac, .ts, .flac, .mp3, .mid, .ogg, .mkv, .wav.  Users will be able it install other audio/video players to support other formats.  The U Ultra #android #smartphone does not support FM radio. 


A 3,000-mAh battery powers the U Ultra.  This average battery will give users average standby and average talk times.  As is with all #android smartphones, users will also get a ton of pre-installed apps (read OEM/manufacturer included bloatware).


HTC’s latest #android #smartphone has the following Ambient light, Proximity, Motion G, Compass, Gyro, Magnetic, Fingerprint sensors and Sensor Hub support.

HTC’s latest #android #smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs.52,000/- and above in the Indian #smartphone market.  The HTC U Ultra #android #smartphone has high-end specifications.
