Google recently announced Android 9 Pie (Android P) Developer Previews for their own Pixel devices. There are many Xiaomi Devices in the list that officially and unofficially support Android 9 Pie (Android P). There were many other android device manufacturers included. These android device manufacturers were: 

  • Essential,
  • OnePlus,
  • Oppo,
  • Sony,
  • Vivo, and
  • Xiaomi

Google has finally provided the Android 9 Pie (Android P) official builds for their Pixel range of products. Google has updated their AOSP source codes. It is now high time that android device manufacturers update their own devices.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be getting MIUI 10 v8.8.7, which in turn is based on Android 9 Pie (Android P). It will be first released as a China Developer ROM. Most likely, it will not contain Gapps (Google Apps).
